Gijón today inaugurated an initiative from the hive, a collective space that aims to create cultural networks of groups and self-managed spaces. Independent art alive!

There is an art outside the art systems, seeking alternative ways to display various content and above all open to countless continents. Art that goes beyond their own rooms, art that is more independent and self-managed, is the subject of the meeting that from Thursday to Saturday will be held at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto de Gijón with the aim of having the views of a hundred people.
Organized by the cultural space the Hervidero , one of those places open to discuss art on which the meeting has the support of Gijón. The Department of Culture was led by Justo Vilabrille and the proposed long ago Alicia Jimenez and his companions of the Hervidero and decided to give their support. "It is an important platform for exchange of ideas between artists," said the mayor to put the appointment.

Thursday was given the go-ahead to a meeting named Zig-Bee with the aim to express in a graphic form all that background hum emitted by the actors in this scene cultural analysis. The name makes reference to the functions of zig-bee system for home automation networks, which serve as coordinator of independent networks. It is also a visual example of what is sought. During these three days, we will learn about the proposals as AAAbierta separate spaces, an association formed by students and alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada, or habits Maus, a cultural project developed in Porto and who wants to show art as always innovative, subversive and transgressive.
